goal

Documentation of 88xx error codes

symptom

What is the meaning of error codes returned on the client in the range of 0x8800 - 0x88ff (Decimal range from 34816 - 35071)

fix

This information is from SDK14, and is not necessary giving remedies, but just a 'developers' explanation of the error.

0x8800 errors are returned by the local shell, i.e. the request has never been seen by the fileserver at all!
