Novell NetWare 5.0

Novell NetWare 5.1

fix

1. Unbind TCP/IP
2. Unplug from the network
3. Bind new IP address
4. Change the etc\hosts and etc\hostname to point to the new IP address. If you have a DNS server change the "A" record for the server with the new IP address.
5. Down the server
6. Move server
7. Bring server up
8. Run the limber process
       SET DSTRACE=+LIMBER
       SET DSTRACE=*L
Toggle to the DS screen and look for END CONNECTIVITY CHECK ALL OK
       SET DSTRACE=+S
       SET DSTRACE=*H
Toggle to the DS screen and look for all processed = yes on each partition.
9. Run DSREPAIR | ADVANCED OPTIONS | SERVERS KNOWN TO THIS DATABASE, select the server that was changed, hit enter, and choose -   REPAIR SELECTED SERVERS NETWORK ADDRESS. Once that has run go back and run DSREPAIR | ADVANCED OPTIONS | SERVERS KNOWN TO THIS DATABASE | REPAIR ALL NETWORK ADDRESSES
