This might be useful if you suspect that PRODUCTS.DAT has become corrupt:

Available only with NW51SP3 / NW6SP1 and later.

Run PRODSYNC with no switches to force the Products Database (products.dat) to synchronize with the NW Registry.

To add records to products.dat from the command line type:

PRODSYNC ADD <RECORD ID> <RECORD TYPE> <RECORD DATA>

To delete records from products.dat:

PRODSYNC DEL <RECORD ID>

To use the graphical c worthy interface type:  LOAD PRODSYNC MENU

NOTE:  Use this utility with care as a damaged or incorrectly formatted products.dat file can impact stability of server.
